Today is Memorial Day. It is a day to not only honor those that have passed but also reflect on your time that you had with them.

As I sit here I’m reminded of all the times I shared with my mom and I know that she is in a better place now. The selfish side of me wishes she were still here in body but I know that she is here in spirit and she never leaves my side.

My best friend received a phone call this morning that her step father had passed away. My heart is breaking for her and I wish there was something I could say or do…but I know from experience that no words can console your heart when someone close to you passes. Hopefully her just knowing that I’m here for her eases her pain in some way.

Please take today to honor those that have passed and honor those close to you that are still around. Never take one single moment with your loved ones for granted because you never know when that might be your last with them. Life is too short.

So im sitting at work and i notice this girls shirt. It’s one of those crazy prints. the dark dull golds, browns, and oranges. Hmm….looks like something you would find in a hotel lobby. So im thinking should i say hey! i like your shirt?! or throw her down and walk on her? haha

Some clothes should just be seen from afar and NEVER worn! its ridiculous! really. Not that im the fashion police, but really. When you look like your wearing your grandmothers quilt or a 1880’s blanket that was used during the Oregon Trail, something isn’t right. Take it off and just put on a darn t-shirt for God’s sakes! lol

and that ladies and gents. ….was just me being me, and venting! hehe
