Well a couple of weeks ago the hubby and I made the decision that I would go to nights and keep the baby home with me during the day to save on daycare costs.  It saves us roughly $400 a month.  I think with the economy the way it is we are not the only ones making this change. 

So far so good.  We have a pretty good little boy that is on a schedule so he allows for nap times and things like that and does not cause too much ruckus during the day. 

Im lucky that I have a job that allows a flexible schedule.  Right now Im loving working at night.  I do not have to deal with the daily drama and BS that comes with working in an office full of women.  That sounds horrible but its true.  While I cant say that I never participated in it, its easier to keep your nose clean if you are not even there to be involved in the first place!  The night shift is not only a relaxing invironment but its made me come to realize how lucky I am to have the job that I have.  Before switching I was thinking daily I was just going to walk out!

I hated to have to take the little one out of daycare but you gotta do what you gotta do and once its time for pre-school he’ll go back.  I did not get the standard 6wks with him due to having to return to work early and hubby was home with him for the first 3mo so I feel like I missed a lot.  Now its time for me to catch up!

So moral of the story is if you have a job that allows you to work nights take the opportunity!  You might find that you love it and it will enable you to be a better wife and mother in the process!!!

OK I personally missed the show last night b/c I was stuck at work and my husband didnt get my email to DVR so im going to have to catch the encore performance…however, I just read on People.com that it was revealed that Dylan McKay is the father of Kelly Taylor’s 4yr old son Sam.  Did I call that one or what?  I’m tellin ya people IM GOOD!  LOL

Ok, while I do think this is a fun little twist…Here is what bothers me about it.  #1, Dylan knows what its like to grow up without your father there for you so where the hell is he?  #2, yes while Kelly and Dylan had a fiery past I always found him more suited with Brenda.  And #3, well I guess there’s not really a #3 just the first two suffice as the things that bother me about it!  haha. 

I’m anxious to see whether or not he will appear on the show.  I’m sure that he will.  I had heard that he turned them down but then I heard on the radio that he did let them know he would be available to do a couple of episodes.  I’d like to see all of them on there in one way or the other.  I want to know if David and Donna are still together.  Are Steve and Janet still married?  And what the heck is up with Brandon?  LOL.  I never did like Valerie much so they can leave her off. 

This is the problem with spin offs…You have hard core fans like me that dont care much for the new characters we just want to know whats going on with the old.  BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL 90210!!!

Everyone has heard the saying “Karma’s a bitch,” and if you watch NBC most of you have probably seen the show “My Name is Earl.” A lot of emphasis has been put on Karma in the past couple of years since the debut of that show. The gist of it was he believed that he was hit by that car after learning he won the lottery to pay him back for all of the things he did to other people.

I must say that if you do not believe in karma you’re a fool. Usually things come back ten fold. Next time you’re bad mouthing someone or making comments you shouldnt be aware that those comments will eventually come back to you and you will have to answer for them.

We all gossip, we all repeat things that we were told. Its human nature. But when the things that were said come back to you it’s not smart to say you never said that or you didn’t do that. If the person is close to you and knows the type of person that you are they’re going to know that you are lying. It sucks when someone repeats something you have told them doesn’t it?

Its hard for a person to maintain friendships if those friendships are based on lies and talking about others. Many people, while they enjoy the gossip, will not enjoy when you turn it on them and they become your next target. There are people in this world that think they are exempt to karma and the ways of the world. They think they deserve everything handed to them and everyone should bow down to them. If life were that easy none of us would have problems would we?

So before you have your next hen party, think about karma and what you are truly doing to others by the things you are saying. Life will be pretty lonely when you are left all by yourself because you have pushed everyone away from you with your actions. It’s all fun and games until hurtful comments get back to those you made them about. Life is what you make it. Make it great!

Well its what I have been waiting for since May!!!  Season Premiers on the CW Network.  And boy did last night kick off with a bang!

First up was Gossip Girl.  Now im not into this show as much as some.  I do watch it here and there but I havent been following along close enough to really critique it well.  I thought the show last night was good however…Starting off to a good season with interesting stories.

Next One Tree Hill!  AND OMG!!!!  I love this show.  I have loved it from the beginning.  The first 5 min had me hooked and left me hooked!  I can not wait to see how the season unfolds!  Will Lucas and Peyton get married?  Will psycho nanny Carrie run away with Jamie again and finally kill off Dan?  We shall see!!!

Tonight was the highly anticipated new spinoff of Beverly Hills 90210.  I grew up watching the original.  I have all of the so far released seasons on DVD.  So I must be honest…I was VERY nervous!  But I must say despite a lot of the references to the old show with the new characters doing basically the same thing, I did like it.  I love how Jennie Garth is back as Kelly Taylor…and who will prove to be the father of her little boy Sam?  Dare we say Mr Dylan McKay?  Rumor is he’s going to be appearing in a couple of episodes.  And Brenda’s back?  WOW!  And I’m not sure if anyone caught the girl at the beginning in the news room…Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez?  LOL.  That would be Andreas lil girl!  And apparently Erin Silver now just goes by Silver?  I did think that one was strange.  It also looked like the Peach Pit is now just The Pit and bigger than ever!  I do think I will watch this show…I do not feel its going to be as good as the original but its watch worthy in my book!

Now tomorrow…on to Americas Next Top Model.  There will be a transgender model this season…Sounds interesting right?  Maybe he, I mean She, will win!  First time for everything.  I never thought a plus sized model would win last season…if you consider a size 10 plus size.

So where has originality gone? This is my question of the day. Looking around the workplace or even malls you can’t help but notice little clicks of people all dressed the same with the same haircuts. Last I knew it was good to have your own personality and own way of thinking. I guess that is now a thing of the past! Hell you even see couples in matching attire. GET REAL! People have started to adapt their way of thinking, dressing and acting around whomever they are with at the time. If this person shaved their head, started dressing like a clown and jumped off a bridge would you be inclined to do it too? I understand someone getting something and you saying OMG that’s so cute…I want it…but in this instance you would think they would be referring to possessions not your entire identity.

Moral of this post is: Be Different. Live on the edge. BE YOURSELF!!!!

Well they did it! Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married this past Saturday in an intimate ceremony at her parents home. They were married in an evening ceremony among family and close friends. Simpson wore an ivory lace wedding gown as she and Wentz exchanged vows in front of 150 guests. The brides father, Joe Simpson, performed the ceremony. Jessica brought boyfriend Tony Romo to the wedding despite recent break up rumors. This is the first marriage for both and pregnancy rumors are still circulating.
–Ok. Lets see how long it lasts. I hope for their sake its forever. Too many hollywood marriages end in divorce these days. And she’s awfully young to be getting married!

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have gotten married! The parents to be exchanged vows at the Beverly Hills courthouse on Monday in casual clothing. They are expecting their first child, a girl, this summer. Sources say that Alba looked happy but nervous during the ceremony that had no other guests in attendance.
–Ok i would be nervous too if i were having a shotgun wedding. I hate it that she didnt get to have a real wedding!!! Maybe someday after the baby is born she will!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are expecting twins in August, were spotted baby shopping in Cannes. They bought only white for their new additions. An employee at the store did ask the expectant mom what she was having and she replied that they didnt know nor did they want to.
–Give it up already!!! Just tell us what you’re having!

Kristi Yamaguchi and dance partner Mark Ballas were crowned the Dancing with the Stars Champions last night. Yamaguchi is the first woman to win in 5 seasons of the show.
–Congrats to Kristi…however with her figure skating background I do believe that she had a bit of an unfair advantage on the other contestants!

Heidi Montag and boyfriend Spencer Pratt, both of The Hills, were spotted in color-coordinating baseball outfits at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. Neither seemed to invested in the game, rather in having their pictures taken. During the 7th inning both stood up to pose for pictures.
–OMG, get over yourselves!!! First off Heidi is a retard. She gave up a great job for her loser boyfriend who’s just that…A LOSER.

It was announced Thursday that Shania Twain and husband of 14 years Robert “Mutt” Lange have called it quits.  Lange stated that the split is unfortunate and the two have been growing apart.  A source close to Twain states that she is devastated and was not expecting it.  Trouble was reported a few years back and Twain all but disappeared from the public eye and the couple worked through their problems…for the time being.  They have a 6 year old son Eja togther.
–Awe…this is sad.  This was actually a long marriage.  How unfortunate for them. 

Ellen DeGeneres has announced that she plans to wed girlfriend Portia de Rossi.  They began dating in 2004.  DeGeneres who just celebrated her 50th birthday announced the wedding plans on her show with 35 year old de Rossi in the audience.  The state of California just struck down a law that would ban same sex marriages.  –Way to go girls.  More power to ya.  Good luck!!

Rapper T.I. and his girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle have welcomed their second child together, a boy today.  Major Harris was 5lbs 15oz.  He is the 5th child for T.I.

Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz celebrated the end of his singledom with a bachelor party in LA with ten of his friends including his future father-in-law Joe Simspon.  Pete and Ashlee Simpson are set to marry this weekend.
–Looks like they’re really doin it people!  We’ll see how long it lasts!!!

Grey’s Anatomy actress Brooke Smith added to her family this week by adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia.  She is the 2nd daughter for 40 year old Smith who also has a daughter, Fanny, with her husband Stephen Lubensky.  Although her first child is natural born they’ve been considering adoption since a visit to Africa last year. 
–YAY!!!  There are so many kids out there that need good homes.  I’m always to hear about stories of adoption.

American Idol winner Taylor Hicks will make a debut on Broadway June 6th.  He plans to perform in Grease.  He’s following in the footsteps of Fantasia and Clay Aiken. 
–Dang.  This is sad.  I liked Taylor.  Usually when the Idols head to Broadway it means their music career is pretty much in the toilet!

Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have called it quits…AGAIN.  The on again, off again couple break up report comes after several circulating reports of an engagement in the works.  The pair began dating in September of 06 directly after Kate Hudsons split from her husband.
–OK big surprise right? I mean really. 

Britney Spears and Mel Gibson are headed to Costa Rica for vacation.  The unlikely pair will spend a week there with the singers father and Gibsons Wife.
